🌊 About Alaïa Bay

Alaïa Bay is Switzerland's alpine wave pool, at Route d'Aproz 65 in Sion, Valais. Its 100 × 100 m Wavegarden Cove lagoon runs ten wave levels, from Rookie whitewater up to Mega Barrel.

Session formats: Coached (beginner to intermediate, with an instructor), Guided (intermediate to expert ocean surfers, led by surf guides) and Free Surf (for validated regular Alaïa Bay surfers).
Most in demand: Advanced Turn, Expert Turn and the barrel sessions sell out fastest. Helmets are required for Expert Barrel and Mega Barrel.
Getting there: about an hour from Lausanne by car or train. Sion station has direct trains from Geneva and Bern, and parking on site is free for customers.
On site: a Surf Center with board and wetsuit hire (boards are assigned on the day and can't be reserved) and the Twin Fin restaurant.

Guided – Led by surf guides; for intermediate to expert ocean surfers. From CHF 129.
